The way we understand our own bodies shapes how we talk with our daughters about theirs.
Connecting the Daughts brings mothers together to explore lipedema, body literacy and ways to support our daughters with curiosity and care.
A diagnosis is not required.

What to expect
An hour of guided conversation, shared experiences and space to listen. We’ll explore how we talk about bodies, how we make room for our daughters’ experiences and how families can describe experiences and seek support. You are welcome to participate without sharing a personal story.
Who can attend
These first three sessions are for mothers aged 18 and older, attending without their daughters. Each person attending must register in advance.
Before you register
Two adult facilitators will be present. Sessions will not be recorded. Please do not record, take screenshots or use an AI note-taking tool. While we ask everyone to keep other participants’ identities and stories private, we cannot guarantee confidentiality within a group.
These conversations offer education and peer connection. They are not therapy or medical advice.
Registration closes at noon Central on the day of each session. Joining details will be emailed to registered participants.
